Family website

Welcome to The Courtman one-name study website
The sister site to

March 2020. Here you could eventually find our Complete Family History for the Courtman name, with known Variants, and hosted on the Guild of one-name studies servers. But there is still some way to go yet, as firstly i need to find a compromise between privacy and sharing, before any Family information is publicly displayed here, and might never be! Privacy is one of my main concerns in Genealogy, along with security and preservation, and this is where the Guild will be of great value to me, none of us are getting any younger!. That’s why i have now started utilizing the Guilds Courtman Data store, or Archive, to hold some of the important index pages for safe keeping, and in perpetuity. Follow the link above or via the menu, and view the most recent data sets, starting with the GRO Civil index’s, and these data sets will always remain open to the public. However, the original public records are still available here via the side menu, and all these pages are still a work in progress. I have already created a new page called the Courtman profile, and that was started back in March, and first aired on my main site of The idea was to compliment the one created for the Courtman space, also on the Guild of one-name studies site, and to pull together some interesting Courtman people, both then and now. And is accessed by the side menu, or the above profile link, and is still in Beta testing as "needs a little more work"
